Happy New Liturgical Year, dear readers! The Advent Season, apart from being a period of hopeful waiting and joyful preparation for the Lord's Birth, marks the beginning of a new year for the Church. And for us in the web, this new year ushers in a new volunteer writer for God-speak.
Mga kapatid, may I introduce you to Jeanne Therese Hilario-Andres who will be our writer for the December issue of God-speak. Nette, as we call her, is the wife of Dr Roberto 'Obet' Andres, my former colleague and tutor at the University of Santo Tomas. She and her family are residents in the UK. She has once taken part in our Nine Gifts 2008 devotion.
We would like to extend to Nette our prayerful wishes as she guides us through her writings our Advent and Christmas journey. Grazie mille to Mayzelle too for her contributions in the November issue of God-speak.
As each of us gets ready for Christmas, looking for the gift we could give to others, more specifically to the Lord, here's an expense-free, soul-refreshing, Spirit-filled suggestion: be part of our growing family!
